Making a printing stamp from pizza packaging.

I sometimes buy pre-made pizzas.
I think they are pretty awful and have no taste, but if the family are hungry and I'm feeling lazy...the shop is just around the corner.
Anyway.
The thought of throwing out the polystyrene packaging makes my brain shrink with horror, so I keep them in a cupboard.
The other day I wondered what could be done with them in a creative way, and I remembered seeing something on pinterest about printing with polystyrene take away food boxes.
So, out came my inner squirrel and I gathered up objects to press into my pizza base packaging.

I thought I'd try a mandala style design, so I used lids and pens, and anything that I thought would make good marks.
When I was happy enough with the final design, I rolled some acrylic paint onto the stamp.
(printing rollers are a must for this in my opinion).
I found some scrap pieces of cotton to experiment on, and pressed them onto the stamp.
This is how they turned out.
I'm not sure what I'll make with them yet, and need to play around with colours, etc.
